Westbank is the lead partner for a new Regional Well-being programme. With 14 partners across the south West the programme aims to deliver activities and events to their local communities that will help to improve Physical fitness, Mental wellbeing and  food awareness.  The services will be delivered locally to around 22,000 people from Gloucester to Penzance and across to Bournemouth. 

Big Lottery Well-being fund will provide £3.9 million towards  the programme which will create supported opportunities for people to get involved and take responsibility for their own well-being, Complimentary to Health and care services it is hoped that this programme will play a significant role in  recovery and prevention of long term illness. 

Westbank and the partners to this programme are committed to Sharing good practice. Through case studies and meaningful evaluation, evidence of effectiveness will become available and will form the basis for continued services in the future.
