 Leagues of Friends Services Development Worker

15 hours a week; NJC.20 (£18,453 pro rata per annum)
Temporary contract until 31/03/2011

Community Mentors (Time for Life Service)

Flexible Hours - £7.80 per hour

Westbank is looking to recruit a Community Mentor to work 1:1 with people aged
50+ to help them identify and achieve goals. The successful applicants will work as part of the Time for Life team to reduce social isolation and exclusion by assisting and enabling people to engage in meaningful social activities. Good communication skills, positive attitude and a ‘can do’ approach to working with vulnerable people in the community are essential.

Due to the nature of this role working in rural areas, it is essential that the post-holder has access to their own transport / home telephone (expenses paid). A work mobile is provided.

Bank Staff 

Westbank wants to recruit a number of flexible people to help cover periods of staff absences due to annual leave or sickness or when Westbank is particularly busy.

The roles we are looking to recruit bank-staff for are:
• Day Care Centre (elderly care)
• Relief Cook (mainly Lunch time)

These roles would be particularly suitable for individuals who already have previous experience but are unable to commit to a permanent job position.
