Hours per week: 15 - 22 hours Location: Exminster Contract: This is a fixed-term contract to 30th April 2023 We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Devon Carers team as Assistant Manager, as part of our newly commissioned 5 year contract. This new role will present the successful candidate with an exciting opportunity to join Devon based charity, Westbank Community Health and Care. Westbank has been providing practical and emotional support to communities across Devon and beyond for over 30 years. We employ over 160 people who support babies and children from early years through to older people, at our centers in Exminster, Budleigh Salterton and Starcross and out in the heart of the community; our work is underpinned with support from over 600 volunteers. Job role You should be an experienced and proven occupational therapist with a commitment to working alongside carers. You will lead, develop, support and motivate your team to ensure the service provided is of the highest quality and maintains required standards across all areas. Ensuring that all statutory requirements and policies are followed. As Assistant Manager, as well as leading and supporting your team, you will be required to provided expert professional, technical and case management advise and deputise for the Manager, as required. You will need to be an experienced, qualified occupational therapist that can balance the demands of project work, developing and supporting a team, whilst managing complex caseloads and being called upon as the expert lead. To do this you will have excellent communication skills and experience of managing multi stakeholder relationships.
