Westbank is a registered charity established in 1986 and became a company limited by guarantee in 2007. The organisation was originally set up to provide practical and emotional support to people in the villages along the west bank of the River Exe. The organisation now works with communities and individuals across Devon. Westbank’s Community Care and Healthy Living Centre premises are in Exminster. The Centre includes a very innovative gym with disabled access equipment, after school and holiday club for children, gymnastics club, conference and meeting facilities and a community Café named Seedlings. We also operate a charity shop and meeting place in Starcross and manage the Budleigh Health & Community Hub, based in Budleigh Salterton which provides Health and Wellbeing services to communities across East Devon.
