DIY Friends support people with short or long term health conditions who are without family and friends to help them to complete small DIY tasks. The main task our DIY Friends are asked to do is to fit a key safe to enable Carers and Community Nurses to gain access to a patient’s home to provide care. Other tasks could include fitting a shelf or replacing a washer on a tap.
