Our Balance Classes are carefully designed to improve participants strength and balance and help them to become more active with increased confidence.

All classes, whether based at Westbank or held in other areas of Devon, are led by a PSI (Postural Stability Instructor) or OTAGO qualified instructors and are progressive over a course of 15 weeks.

Home Exercise programmes are provided to the participants to encourage them to exercise more than once a week.

At the end of the 15 week course, participants are encouraged to continue exercising with other suitable local groups and Westbank endeavour to provide some information on classes available in the local area.

Participation is through a referral from your GP or Medical/Health professional.
