We’re looking for an experienced HR Adviser / Administrator to join our HR team. Due to the size of the team this is a dual role covering HR Adviser duties as well as Administrator duties for the team (working alongside a part time HR Administrator).

In this role you will support the overall business strategy by ensuring that you deliver a professional service across the business. Working as part of a proactive, innovative and responsive HR team to provide pragmatic, creative and business focused HR solutions, whilst developing key relationships with managers and employees at all levels.

The ideal candidate will be have previous experience working within an HR team and have a sound understanding of the principles of good HR practice and a working knowledge of employment law. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with a drive for continuous improvement.

Shortlisting Criteria:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing HR advice
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or currently studying for this)
  • A sound understanding of the principles of good HR practice and a working knowledge of employment law
  • Up to date knowledge and experience of employment legislation
  • Excellent communication skills, works effectively within a team, see the potential in others and understands the impact of their actions on colleagues
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to persuade influence and, when appropriate, challenge with tact and diplomacy
  • Drive to improve performance and deliver outstanding results through new, innovative and more effective ways of working
  • Ability to work under pressure and competing deadlines
