We have a range of services and activities for older people which offer support and promote wellbeing. These include Neighbourhood Health Watch.

The schemes help elderly, isolated and lonely people connect with neighbours and support services to maintain their health and independence. Projects operate with the help of the police, GPs, community activists, local business and good neighbours. Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue are also involved.

Places the projects operate from include: Newton St Cyres; Longdown; Heavitree Exeter; Harbertonford; Shobrooke; Lymptsone, and Budleigh Salterton.

Clients attending our using our Neighbourhood Health Watch service can also benefit from additional services for older people offered by Westbank. These include: Day Care; Memory Cafes; Lunch Club; Time for Life- a mentoring service to support people over 65 and their carers, who have suffered a downturn in their lives; Food Neighbours; Individual Support; Neighbourhood Friends; Befriending; Patient Transport
