Devon Carers supports carers to maintain their own health, wellbeing and independence; and to care safely, confidently and effectively. In this context a carers is a person who looks after someone but is not paid or a formal volunteer.

Our Peer Support service is all about carers providing each other with mutual support through buddying and groups. Our Peer Support Officers host a number of events where carers can meet each other, we match carers to other carers to form buddy relationships, set up social groups, and organise walks for carers which usually end in a cuppa in a café!
