This allows a group of up to 30 participants including Walk Leaders to part take in outdoor walks in and around their local areas whilst complying too the 2 metre social distancing rule, as set out by the directive sent by Walking for Health. Westbank will apply these rules to these activities.

For those groups whose numbers are in excess of the above, then the start of the activity will be staggered, with additional walk leaders for participants to allow more to take part. In order that we make sure that we comply with the above, we will be setting up a booking system and ask that participants phone Westbank on 01392 824752.

  1. All Participants will be reminded that they must comply with social distancing before, during and after the walk. The participants will be reminded of the latest information for Covid-19
  2. Participants must wear appropriate clothing, footwear and take appropriate precautions for example the use of sun cream, bring own water/drink.
  3. They must also bring with them their own equipment and encouraged to wear gloves and face covering or mask. The will also be encouraged to bring with them hand sanitizer. They will be reminded that as there are limited cafes open that with the space to socially distance for small groups that they will have to bring their own refreshments.

This will take in the travel arrangements that may be required and adjust accordingly. The adjustment will also take into consideration the lack of public services being open ie car parks and toilets.
