Italian Bread Making Day with Ian Heppell from The Bread School & Bakery - Friday 24 July. 

Spend a relaxed and enjoyable day learning the art of traditional Italian bread making with expert baker Ian Heppell from The Bread School & Bakery. During this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to make classic ciabatta, focaccia and authentic pizza dough from scratch, gaining the confidence to recreate them at home.

Throughout the day, we will cover the fundamentals of bread making, including understanding flour, yeast, fermentation, kneading techniques and dough handling. You will discover how simple ingredients, time and technique combine to create beautifully flavoured artisan breads.

As part of the experience, you will make your own rich Italian pizza sauce and enjoy freshly baked pizzas for lunch using the doughs made during the workshop.

This course is perfect for beginners as well as enthusiastic home bakers wanting to develop new skills and confidence in artisan bread making. By the end of the day you will leave with a deeper understanding of the bread-making process, recipes to take home, and the skills to continue baking your own Italian breads with confidence.

Equipment and ingredients are provided, and guidance will be given throughout the day in a friendly and supportive environment.
