I can only go to hospital because of the service; it keeps me healthy and allows me to interact with others

The Westbank patient transport service helps people, who are unable to access public transport, or without family or friends nearby, to get to their healthcare appointments and health related exercise and rehabilitation classes.

We have a team of fully trained volunteer drivers who provide this valuable service to people in the Exeter and Westbank area.  Our volunteer drivers help patients from the following surgeries:

  • Westbank Practice (Starcross Surgery and Exminster Surgery)
  • Barnfield Hill Surgery
  • Isca Medical Practice
  • St Leonards Practice
  • The Whipton Surgery
  • Wonford Green Surgery

Although the Westbank patient transport service is a free service, we do ask for a small donation to cover the volunteer drivers expenses.
