Join us for a freshly cooked full English breakfast, tea, coffee and great conversation.

These Thursday morning sessions provide a great opportunity for you to meet new people or join friends, in a friendly welcoming atmosphere.

Launch of Wellbeing Gift Box initiative for Devon’s unpaid carers during Carers’ Week

Unpaid carers in Tiverton were the first in Devon to have received free Wellbeing Gift Boxes as part of a county-wide joint initiative between Devon Carers at Westbank and Devon Partnership NHS Trust (DPT), supported through funding from Open Up, the Trust’s charity, launched during Carers’ Week (8th - 14th June 2026).
Tracy's Story

Like so many of us, Tracy only recognised herself as an unpaid carer when her daughter was diagnosed in her early 20’s with Autism and Inattentive ADHD. Her caring journey has led her to become a Carer Ambassador for Devon Carers, which enables her to speak out for others, raise awareness and help shape the future of adult carer services.

Neighbourhood Friends is a flexible and responsive support service focussed on avoiding hospital admissions and reducing hospital stays.
Health Walks

Did you know we offer 12,000 Health Walk places across 24 locations in Devon, offering the chance to explore the outdoors, get to know the local area and meet new friends?

Walks are accessible to all and range from Short Level 1 - Up to 30 minutes, to Long Level 3 - 60 to 90 minutes.

All walks are led by our fully trained Volunteer Walk Leaders.

The Community Cookery School

Our purpose-built teaching kitchen offers a range of courses for those who wish to gain knowledge, skills and confidence in cooking whilst learning to create healthy, cost-effective meals to suit their lifestyle.
Am I a young carer?

Do you look after someone? Do they have an illness, disability, frailty, mental health problem, or drug/alcohol addiction? Would they struggle to cope without your support? Are you under 18? If yes – you are a Young Carer!
Patient Transport

Our patient transport service enables people to attend their healthcare appointments and exercise and rehabilitation classes.

In 2023, our Patient Transport Services Team supported over 3,200 referrals.
