Booking and Payment The course fee is £30 per person for the full 6-week programme. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are only confirmed once payment has been received. As a charitable organisation, Westbank Community Health and Care welcomes additional voluntary donations from participants who are able to contribute more towards the cost of the course. 2. Attendance The course consists of six weekly sessions, each lasting approximately 2–2.5 hours. Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions to gain the maximum benefit from the course. Missed sessions cannot be refunded, transferred, or replaced with alternative classes. 3. Cancellations and Refunds As places on this course are limited and reserved for specific dates, course fees are non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed. If you are unable to attend, please notify us as soon as possible. In some circumstances, a refund may be considered if your place can be filled by another participant from a waiting list. Any such refund will be at the discretion of Westbank Community Health and Care. Missed sessions cannot be refunded, transferred, or replaced with alternative classes. Westbank Community Health and Care reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or amend a course due to insufficient numbers, staff illness, unforeseen circumstances, or events beyond our control. In such cases, participants will be offered an alternative date or a full refund. 4. Dietary Requirements and Allergies All ingredients required for the course are provided. Participants must inform us of any allergies, intolerances, dietary requirements, or medical conditions relevant to food preparation at the time of booking. While every effort will be made to accommodate dietary requirements, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment, as ingredients containing common allergens may be used during classes. Participants with severe allergies attend at their own risk and should discuss their requirements with us before booking. 5. Health, Safety and Participation Participants are expected to follow all instructions provided by course tutors regarding health, safety, hygiene, and the safe use of kitchen equipment. Westbank Community Health and Care reserves the right to ask any participant to leave a session if their behaviour places themselves or others at risk. Participants should wear suitable clothing and closed-toe footwear for practical cooking activities. Anyone who is unwell with a contagious illness should not attend the session and should inform the Cookery School as soon as possible. 6. Support Needs If you will be attending with a carer, support worker, or personal assistant, please inform us when booking so that appropriate arrangements can be made. We are committed to making our courses as accessible and inclusive as possible and encourage participants to discuss any additional support requirements with us in advance. 7.
