Every gift, however large or small, makes a real difference to our ability to provide local health and wellbeing support that will have a lasting impact on every aspect of people’s lives, whatever their individual needs. 

Making a simple Will need only take a few minutes. It need not cost a lot and can easily be changed if your circumstances change.

There are two types of legacy gifts:​

• A share of your estate, or residuary legacy (a percentage of your estate after all other gifts and expenses have been paid)
• A specific sum, known as a pecuniary legacy

If you leave a gift to Westbank in your Will, it will not be included when valuing your estate for Inheritance Tax purposes.  The value of your gift will be deducted from your estate before Inheritance Tax is applied.
