About my role at Westbank

I work with children between the ages of 2 – 11 in the Kidzone’s Pre-school, after- school club and holiday club. I work with the other practitioners to ensure a safe and enriching space for the children.

Experience

I have been volunteering and working in the childcare sector for a little under six years and have always had a passion for working in the Early Years and Education Sector. I have been at a couple of different settings in the local area.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years Educator Diploma

• Level 3 Health and Social Care Extended Diploma

• Paediatric First Aid 

• Food Standards Agency Food Allergy and Intolerance Training

• Prevent and Safeguarding Training 

• Floppy Phonics and Read Write Inc Training 

My values

I enjoy learning and getting to know the different children that come through the setting helping them to learn, develop and grow.

My personal interests

Outside of Westbank I enjoy riding my motorbike and being outdoors.

Apart from being with the children, the best thing about my role at Westbank is working with the team. We all share the same passion and care and are constantly striving to improve on and create the best leaning environment for all of our children.
