On behalf of everyone at Westbank, we would like to thank all our Community Supporter Volunteers who have offered to help people living in the Exminster, Kenton, Powderham, Kenn, Starcross and Mamhead areas who are following Government Covid19 guidelines by staying at home.

  • Over 470 (Sept 2020) community supporters have signed up to help people locally, with everything from shopping, telephone befriending, transporting people safely home from the hospital, dog walking to maintaining an allotment and much more besides!
  • Over 8,200 (Sept 2020) acts of kindness have been carried out by our community supporters.

Many of our new community supporters have offered to make a friendly telephone call to someone who is living alone. As yet we haven’t received many requests for this, so if you have family or friends who you think would welcome a call please let us know [email protected]

We have purchased a very large bag of bird feed so if anyone would like a community supporter to call and fill up their birdfeeders please do give us a call.

Our team members at Westbank have all been humbled by the extent of your acts of kindness and compassion – we are so proud to be playing a part in supporting this amazing community.
