Westbank Annual Review 2018 - 2019 Expand Since becoming Westbank’s Chief Executive, I have enjoyed seeing so much of the inspiring work it does. This Annual Review barely scratches the surface. The highlights of the year are here for all to see. But the impact our staff and volunteers have – on the health and wellbeing of so many people – is hard to comprehend. Westbank Annual Review 2017 - 2018 Expand I don’t think anyone who attended the initial meeting at Starcross Surgery in 1986 to explore the possibility of setting up a volunteer scheme to support the local community would have ever imagined that the development of Westbank would be such an amazing success, and that the organisation would make such an enormous contribution to patients and their carers across the whole country. This report highlights the wide range of activity that is going on both locally and, through the National Diabetes Prevention Programme, across the country.
