About my role at Westbank

Growing our partnerships with other organisations, across a number of sectors, is central to my role.  This enables us to expand our current provision as well as to develop new opportunities.  Collaborative working with both statutory and VCSE services is fundamental to our commitment to integrated and holistic service delivery.

My background is in Learning Disability, Ex-Offenders, Education and, Homelessness and Homeless Prevention.  People are at the core of my drive to provide the best, whether it is a service-user, volunteer or colleague.   Every person matters.

My stand out career moments

I have been fortunate to experience many great moments across my career, including many challenges; all of which I have learned so much from, e.g.

• Empowering and enabling individuals to have independence, confidence, self-worth and a reason to believe they can achieve;
• Leading and sustaining improved provision
• Staff development.

My values

Leading with compassion, fairness and kindness is at the heart of who I am.  These values are strongly demonstrated by Westbank, which is why I wanted to be part of the Team!

Personal interests

Immersed in the countryside, engrossed in a book, in the stands at Sandy Park, at the theatre and in the company of family and friends is my life outside of work.  I am a busy and sociable person!
