Taryn, Westbank Kidzone Childcare Practitioner

About my role at Westbank

As a Childcare practitioner at Westbank I am responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children and I aim to create an open and friendly atmosphere to allow everyone to feel comfortable.

I have been a Westbank Volunteer Gymnastics Coach for over five years working with children aged 4-8 years.

I am currently studying Education and Childcare T-Level 3 at Exeter College.

My values

I want to create an engaging and exciting place for children to feel safe in. I enjoy getting to know each of the children, which allows me to provide an enriching environment for them to be themselves. I want all of the children to feel as though they can relax and have fun while they are at Kidzone.

My personal interests

Outside of Westbank I participate in many activities, these include cooking, baking, painting, and walks in nature as well as many more. I enjoy spending time with the people closest to me and focusing on improving my health and wellbeing at the same time.

I love getting to know the children and creating a safe space for them to relax and have fun in.
